Pork sweet and sour

for 4 persons

Ingredients:

  • 500 g pork cutlet
  • 30 g ginger root
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/8 l rice wine
  • 4 tbsp redwine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 200 g pumpkin
  • 125 g bean sprouts
  • 4-6 tbsp oil
  • salt

  • DIAMOND bean sprouts
  • CHOYA Rice wine

Preparation

Preparation time: about 25 minutes (plus time to marinade)

  1. Cut the pork cutlet into stripes. Clean and grate the ginger and mix with soy sauce, starch, rice wine, vinegar, sugar and pepper. Add the meat and let marinade for about 1 hour.

  2. Wash the peppers and cut them into stripes, same with the pumpkin. Wash the sprouts and let it drip off a thouroughly.

  3. Take the meat out of the Marinade and let it drip off. Heat the oil in a pot and cook it portion after portion, then set it aside. Add vegetables to the hot oil and cook it shortly.

  4. Add the marinade, cover it and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Salt to taste and add the meat. The meal pairs perfectly with rice.
