Japanese Cuisine
Among Asian cuisines the Japanese cuisine is the healthiest - not only because of the world famous sushi. Here mostly rice, fish and other seafood are rolled into the so-called Maki sushi or molded by hand as the Nigiri sushi.
As Sashimi, seafood are prepared without rice. Served with spicy wasabi and spicy soy sauce. In addition, however, Japanese cuisine offers a wealth of other delicacies - such as grilled meat skewers as Yakitori with chicken breast and vegetables.
In Japan spices are used comparatively economical to conserve the natural taste of fresh products in the Japanese kitchen. The most famous drink of Japan is next to tea Sake. The rice wine is enjoyed with dinner - but is also part of many sauces and marinades.
